Description
Part of what it is to be human is to make choices about the way we live, about how to behave and what is right and wrong. Religions, and non-religious belief systems such as humanism, offer guidance in the form of rules, commandments, precepts or moral codes.
This publication provides teachers with some active approaches to engage pupils in:
– exploring what religions and a non-religious belief system say about the best ways to live
– understanding moral decision-making
– exploring and reflecting on, applying and evaluating the insights of religious and non-religious ‘codes for living’.
